So I know this is a bit late but I just found the camera cord so I thought I would show you some pictures from the Olympics.
We started the day in Hyde Park where we watched the men's triathalon. We watched the bike section by the edge of the road and after that was finished we walked down to watch Team GB win gold and bronze on the big screen. It was great to see so many people cheering on their own country.
After that we headed to the Olympic park and walked around for a bit, enjoying the landmarks (including the weird and wonderful Coke beatbox building [see above] and all of the stadiums). There was a great sense of frivolity the whole day and many people were dancing and singing all around the park.
By 7pm it was time for us to take our seats in the massive Olympic stadium to watch the night's selection of athletics which included the women's 100m hurdle final and the mens 1500m final. The thing that amazed me most about the stadium was not the size or the noise but the sense of collectedness I felt. Whether you were supporting the Armenian team or the Zimbabwe team, everyone cheered each competitor and celebrated with the winners.
My favourite moment was when a team GB member won the bronze in the men's high jump. The whole stadium literally went crazy and the cheering lasted for about 10 minutes. It will be a moment I will never forget.
PS. Sorry about the lack of outfit posts recently but I have one ready and waiting so be patient. All in good time!

Hey guys so I'm sorry for being away for a bit and also promising you photos of all my travels but unfortunately i can't get the images of my camera at the moment. They will have to be posted later.
Anyway, as I said in a previous post I went to Summer in the City (or SitC) last weekend. Basically it is a free conference/gathering of youtubers and people who watch their videos. I met loads of amazing people such as Danisnotonfire, Amazingphil and Carrie Hope Fletcher. I also sort of met JacksGap. Anyway it was loads of fun (and I got free youtube wayfarer sunglasses (win!!)) and I made loads of friends and if you watch youtube videos and you live in the UK I definitely recommend you come next year. It will be awesome.
Basically, this video is of a youtube musician called Tom Law. I knew about his music before SitC but there I met him and he signed my CD I bought. I am in love with this song at the moment so I thought I should share it with you in the hope that you will like it too. It's called If I Ever Lost You. Enjoy!!

I am really into wearing dresses at the moment and I thought I would show you some of the dresses on my wishlist. I am loving cutout dresses at the moment and it is only a matter of time until I cave in a buy 10 in one shopping trip but I have resisted thus far. I also love dresses with a flippy, skater skirt and this is the usual style of dress or skirt I would pick because I love the way it moves when I wear it. The final dress is not something I would usually pick but I thought it looked so adorable and unique that I had to put it in.

Two posts in one day, that is unheard of but I just realised that I promised I would share with you some pictures from when I went surfing in Polzeath, Cornwall. There aren't actually any pictures of me surfing because we couldn't take the camera into the water but I think I was pretty good for a first time surfer. I got up on the board loads of times and I only managed to hit a few little children.
Our campsite was right by the beach on a cliff and out tent spot was thew closest to the cliff edge. This allowed for some great views, especially at sunset. We also have Union Jack bunting on our tent to mark our support for Team GB at the Olympics.
Here are some group shots which only serve to show how pasty I was compared to everyone else. It wasn't for lack of trying that I wasn't tanned. I just don't tan.
This was the day when we decided (rather stupidly) to walk around the headland to the next bay along but instead of walking over the top on the land we decided to walk in the sea. This would have been great had it not been really slippery on the rocks and if the waves weren't quite as strong. At one moment I got caught of uard and went flying under the water shorts in hand. I then had to go around all day with my shorts soaking wet.
One day we hired out 3 tandems (double bikes) and 2 single bikes and we headed out along the river trail. The ride was really fun and we laughed a lot as the tandems were really hard to control so we cycled into bushes and trees several times.
These are just some general shots of us playing about in the sea which we did the majority of the time.
Overall, the week was loads of fun and I learnt how to surf without hurting other people. It was around 30 degrees (Celsius) everyday so it was a welcome break for the 4 straight weeks of rain we had.

Hey guys! Sorry about the lack of posts but I have been at the Olympics and on holiday for a week so I couldn't post but I am back but I have definitely left my voice in that festival field because I can barely speak now. This outfit is from before I left and the idea behind it was just a really slouchy look because I was in a very lazy mood. This skirt is one of my favourite items of clothing at the moment because it is suitable for all weathers and when you live in England that is important. I also rediscovered this bag that I have had in the back of my wardrobe for about a year and I finally pulled it out and I realised I loved it.
Anyway, pictures from the Olympics and Soul Survivor will be up in the following days so look out for that. Also, next weekend I am going to London to go to a Youtube festival so there will probably be lots of pictures of that too!

I got this skirt a few days ago and I couldn't wait to show it to you. Although it is plain, it is a great piece because it can be worn with so many different things so expect to see it in future looks. I have a growing obsession with rings and I am gaining quite a large collection. I just love how they can take an outfit from ok to awesome. This outfit reminds me of a tennis outfit (á la the 50's) with the flippy skirt and the tied crop top. This gives my outfit a (very) tenuous Olympic link but it is enough for me. I have spent the last few days glued to the TV screaming at Team GB. I can't wait until Tuesday when I will be at the Olympic park to watch the men's 1500m final!
PS. I just realised I have horribly bad tan lines on my arms from my wetsuit when I was surfing in Cornwall. They are really obvious in the final picture.

I'm a hoarder. I keep all manner of useless things from old books to shiny trinkets. I love the crowded feel of the rooms in these pictures and I find this very inspiring because I think this is not only how I like my room, but it is also how I like my closet. I never throw clothes away because I know in maybe a years time I will want to wear it again. Anyway, these pictures really inspired me so I decided to share them with you.

So I bought this dress yesterday and I really wanted to show it to you guys so I persuaded my sister to let me use her camera. I thought it looked quite a dressy outfit so I decided to dress it down with these greys trainers which I actually love. They also helped because I had to cycle into town today to get my sister a (late) 21st birthday present. I have bought lots of cool new jewellery recently and I think the necklace worked really well with the peter pan collar of the dress. I also realised today that pretty much all my jewellery is gold rather than silver and I decided it was because I am attracted to expensive looking things.
