READING FESTIVAL DISPOSABLES

This last weekend I spent at Reading Festival 2013 which is one of the biggest rock/indie festivals in the UK. Copious amounts of facepaint, henna and glitter were applied throughout the week and my disposables basically show the wreckage that was our campsite but it was all worth it for the acts I got to see. Imagine Dragons were probably my favourite act of the weekend and since I was right on the barrier the experience was incredible. I'll leave my disposable photos to talk for themselves but looking through I realise I have some pouting problem as every other photo I have whacked out the cheesy pout. I think I need and intervention before it gets too out of hand.

WE GROW UP TOO FAST

wearing: dress from charity shop, cardigan from river island, shoes from charity shop, belt from primark

This is my new favourite dress to transition me from summer into autumn. I found it recently when charity (thrift) shopping with my sister and I fell in love with it instantly. It is such an usual length and it is unlike any dress I previously owned so I knew I had to have it. Paired with these perfect heeled sandals I found on the same trip I have a late summer, put together outfit at minimal effort which is what I live for.
The sun is quickly leaving our small island so this long dress will provide a small amount of warmth as we enter September.

A SUMMER COLLECTING JEWELLERY

I have been gathering a large selection of arm candy these last few summer months. I always seem to accumulate a wristband collection from about may onwards and by September when I return to school the bands run half way up my pale arms (no matter how much I sit in the sun I never tan sigh). Then over the course of the school year they all to disappear for some reason or another (friendship bracelets falling off or elastic breaking). This actually doesn't sadden me too much because if I never lost them I would never be able to collect them again next summer as I would have no arm left. However, this year I am particularly proud of my arm jewellery and these silver rings I bought the last few days (apart from the weaved one on my ring finger which belonged to my grandma). I think this set up is to stay.

I CRY OVER MY SWEATERS

wearing: dress from primark, spiderman jumper from primark, shoes from primark, socks from tesco.

So I've been outfit post free for over a month and a half because I have been living out of a suitcase since July 2nd. My summer's are usually spent mostly at home but this summer so far I have been to a summer school at Eton boy's school (the one all the royal princes go to), surfing in Polzeath, Cornwall; helping at a kid's camp in Serbia (where I had no internet at all) and now I'm at a Christian festival. Luckily there is an internet cafe set up so I though I should share these pictures with you. It is only fair after all this time that I make an effort to post.

This is my typical 'I'm camping and the weather can't decide if it wants to rain or be sunny' look. It is fairly warm out here so I decided to wear my loose, Aztec print t-shirt dress from Primark but with rain so imminent every time I step out of my canvased front door I of course had to bring along my trusty Spiderman sweater. Spiderman is my favourite superhero so I really loved this jumper about 2 years ago. Unfortunately at that time it belonged in my sister's wardrobe and my attempts at stealing it were proving futile so I resigned to wait until she got bored with it. Alas, that time arrived a few weeks ago when she sent it home from were she lives in Birmingham and I haven't taken it off since. Wow who knew I could have so much verbal diarrhea from a sweater.
