wearing: dress from urban outfitters, gilet from forever 21, hat from new look, shoes from h&m
Trying to get good quality pictures when the light is very quickly fading, it is one degree and you aren't wearing a coat is harder than I imagined it to be especially when having to constantly change the ISO setting to account for the lack of light in the woods. Getting laughed at by random teenage boys doesn't help either.

Nonetheless I ventured out of my back garden for once and headed to the woods by my house. I was determined to not wear a coat in an attempt to show this jacket in its full glory as I honestly can't stop wearing it. It is so soft and cosy and since it is sleeveless it can be worn over any cardigan and it looks like a new jacket, perfect for when you can barely afford one item of outerwear like me.

wearing: shirt and cardigan from primark, jeans from topshop, boots from h&m, necklace from new look
Whenever I dip into the tartan trend I get a strong urge to act like Cher from Clueless all day but I restrain it for the sanity of the rest of the population. I love this shirt from Primark as it fits right in with the weird monochrome phase I seem to be stuck in at the moment.
I'm so happy frost has finally arrived here because it means that the deluge of rainy days is mostly over and it is almost winter. (Is it too early to wear my Christmas jumpers and pj's...no.) The dry days that have arrived also means I can finally get out and take outfit shots which I have been waiting to show you for weeks.

all photos from tumblr

I've recently spent every spare moment trawling tumblr for inspiration and it has got to the point where I'm more inspired to look for these photos than put together nice outfits. So while I wallow in the fashion block that is November rain I thought you might enjoy what I have been staring at for the last week or so.

HOW TO: Take over London

I recently went to London for a weekend to see the Arctic Monkeys play at Earl Court and I did something I've never done before, I vlogged the weekend. I did so much and I thought that a video was much more interesting than a series of pictures so enjoy lots of walking and an unexpected trip to the Diwali festival.
